My Hometown

In my town of Ozurgeti, on the street that I live, there are 24 homes. Out of the 24, seven homes have adults who are employed.

The philosophical question internally asked by older Georgians:

Is it better to have few goods of little to no quality to purchase but a lot of money or have a market full of high quality goods but little to no money to purchase?

“Now Main Street’s white washed windows
and vacant stores
seems like there ain’t nobody
wants to come down here no more
They’re closing down the textile mill across the railroad tracks
Foreman says these jobs are going boys and they ain’t coming back to your hometown
Your hometown”
