Rabies And Other Assorted Alerts

Our organization sends out various informational emails. Which are greatly appreciated as I for one don’t want to be surprised by or caught off guard by some freak situation. The latest email had the following to say:

“We would like to let you know that the number of street dogs in Georgia has increased and we want to provide you with some helpful tips on how to avoid being bitten and how to protect yourself from rabies. The safety and health of volunteers is of the utmost importance to us and because Rabies is generally a bigger problem in Georgia than many of your home countries, we want to keep you informed.”

I am duly warned.
